Together, FCCLA and our FACS courses help prepare us for our futures.

Family: In Food, Nutrition, and Wellness as well as Food For Life, we learn the importance of a nutritious and well balanced lifestyle for ourselves and our family members. We learn about meal planning for our families that are healthy and cost effective, which will be very beneficial once we graduate and start our own families.

Career: Every Wednesday, our FACS classes have "Workforce Wednesday." In these class sessions, we work on necessary skills to acquire and keep job positions. We complete resumes, develop digital portfolios, and have visitors from industry come in and teach us about their careers.

Community: Each semester, the FCCLA members currently enrolled in FACS courses plan, promote, and carryout classroom community service projects using the FCCLA Planning Process. During Fall 2023, we did Cookies for Childhood Cancer Research, a coat drive or local homeless children, and a canned food drive for a local church in which we stocked the food pantry and provided holiday meals.
